A celebration of the vocal arts, shared musical excellence and recognition of the community that fosters it will embark this year with the 2026 Long Beach Camerata Singers Gala on Tuesday, September 29 from 5:30 - 9:30 p.m. at the Westin in Long Beach.

This event will mark the beginning of the 2026 - 2027 performing season, as well as a landmark celebration of Camerata’s Grammy-Award winning Artistic Director, James K. Bass, who celebrates a decade of leadership with the organization this year. Throughout the season, we will celebrate artistic growth, the artists themselves and honor the community it cultivates; one of many values that makes Long Beach so exceptional.

This year’s honorees are Josh Lowenthal, California Assembly Member, Speaker Pro Tempore, Blair Cohn, Executive Director, Bixby Knolls Business Improvement Association and The Nonprofit Partnership: Michelle Byerly, Executive Director. Please join us as we honor our community partners, celebrate Dr. Bass’ decade with the organization and kick off our 2026-2027 season.
