Giving Young Voices the Power to Make a Difference
The Long Beach Camerata Singers' Peace4Youth program brings the transformative power of choral music into local schools, helping students discover that their voices can do more than sing—they can inspire, lead and create positive change.
Music with Meaning
Through thoughtfully selected repertoire and meaningful conversations, students explore themes of empathy, hope, justice and community. They learn that music can be a powerful force for understanding and connection.
More Than Music
Peace4Youth helps students develop:
-
Musicianship and vocal skills
-
Confidence and self-expression
-
Teamwork and collaboration
-
Empathy and compassion
-
A deeper connection to their community
Learning Side by Side with Professionals
Students rehearse, learn and perform alongside members of the Long Beach Camerata Singers through workshops and collaborative concerts. These experiences build confidence, create lasting memories and show young singers what is possible through dedication and artistry.
Building Voices. Building Leaders.
Led by Peace4Youth Coordinator Connor Licharz, the program encourages students to think deeply, sing boldly and become engaged citizens who use their talents to make a difference.
Because when young people find their voices, they can help change the world.
